Tomato Rewards

It has been a busy week but now its back to normal for a few days. I worked 12 hour shifts at a building I'm not very familiar with this week. Everything went pretty good there despite the surprise extra duties from a barbecue for 35, lots of helpful hands made short work of the mess. We also hosted the usual Tuesday night dinner and gaming group (dungeons and dragons) with my dad, brothers, brothers girlfriend, and friend of family. It was nice to be able to see everyone this week, last week two people couldn't make it. I made my first Etsy treasury this week too, it is at http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list.php?room_id=82722 if anyone would like to check it out, I'd love some feedback on how to make it better. I also took some more pictures and posted a bit more jewelry in my Etsy store at http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=7305698. I went to a thrift store downtown on my work break and found some great deals on pretty peach, teal and white crochet cotton, as well as little bits of green, gold and lilac cord/wool that looks like it might have silk, or chenille in it. It is really soft and shimmery, I can't wait to use it to make something, I'm still trying to decide what though. Last night I made a crocheted choker with blue ribbon running through it, it turned out pretty good I think. Now I'm just trying to figure out what I want to add to it, those little flowers in the top right of the picture match the ribbon nicely but I think I want something a bit bigger. Maybe a little crocheted flower with a blue ribbon flower in its center, or I might make a beaded flower or dangle a pretty pendant from it. We'll just have to wait and see I guess. My oldest boy just got home from visiting my brother and his girlfriend and brought me a bunch of lovely little tomatoes from them. I ate all the little yellow ones right away they were the sweetest (healthy candy), before I even thought of blogging, darn it. So a picture of the rest will just have to do. We'll have to look for some of those to grow next spring...mmmm. I'd recommend them to everyone; too bad I don't know what they are called but they are yellow, round and about 1-2 inches in diameter. I wish I could figure out how to put the pictures between the text instead of at the top of the page, but one thing at a time right? It'll come.
