I've actually sold a few things I've made...a very satisfying feeling. It's funny though how the things that I think someone will surely love are only loved by me. While the things I make to try something out or that I don't like the results of as much seem to be particularly popular with others. Maybe because they are less finished, they still have flexibility to fit into a wider audiences apreciation? I'm not sure why... but its nice to realize that those things which I make and don't love as much are still being loved by someone. On another note it's almost christmas time and I'm not ready. It has been a very long time since I haven't had an organized chrismas and I rather like it. I am not spending as much money and I am spending more time with family. Sometimes simpler is better. My kids are have been going through some rough spots, the eldest has been making some poor choices and having to deal with some tough consequences and my youngest had his first heart break. My partner is currently unemployed as the restaurant where he was working went out of business. He has managed to be put on a couple of relief or casual lists since then but has actually worked very little. So if anyone knows of any wonderful jobs for a great red seal chef who has many years experience in the Victoria Canada area please let me know. Around here the weather has been pretty mild so far, we only had snow once and it quickly melted away. Happy holidays!
This is a picture of some of the earrings that I have sold recently.
